Wister catcher signs letter with CASC
WISTER – Wister Wildcats catcher Kadin Repass took care of two things with one “John Hancock” signature Tuesday morning in the Jerry Carpenter Memorial Gymnasium lobby.
Repass signed a Scholars Program letter with Carl Albert State College so the Poteau junior-college institution can reward him for his brains. However, his baseball talent is going to be utilized as well as Repass will walk on and play for new CASC baseball coach Paul Pulley.
“I’m really excited,” Repass said. “It’s always been a dream to get to play college baseball, but I’ve also focused on my grades. It helps that I’m going to get more money for that (academics). It’s always nice to get extra money for academics, and still get to play the sport you love. I’ve grown up playing this sport.”
