Red Oak Eagles fly past Buffalo Valley Buffaloes

RED OAK - The Red Oak Eagles stayed undefeated with a 15-2 rout of the Buffalo Valley Buffaloes to spoil the debut of new BV coach Darren Harber.

The Eagles (4-0), who fell behind the Buffaloes 2-0 in the first inning, put away the game with a 10-run first inning and a five-run second inning to down the Buffaloes (0-1).

For the game, Chance Noah was 2-for-3 with a home run and four runs batted in, Casen Hood was 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run scored and Preston King doubled and scored once for Red Oak. Denver Hamilton (1-0) got the win, getting six strikeouts in three innings and throwing a one-hitter, which belonged to Buffalo Valley’s Colt Coates.
