Bedlam battle belongs to Sooners

OU to play Baylor in championship game

STILLWATER -- Defense, turnovers by Parnell Motley, and a trick touchdown reception by Jalen Hurts and a solid rushing attack were all the key elements used as seventh-ranked Oklahoma beat No. 21 Oklahoma State, 34-16, Saturday night before a packed house at T. Boone Pickens Stadium.

The win marked five straight for OU in the Bedlam Series as it upped its dominating lead to 89-18-7.

Oklahoma (11-1 overall, 8-1 in the Big 12 Conference) keeps its hopes alive for a spot in the college football playoffs and should move up with No. 5 Alabama losing to Auburn.
