Obituary for Keith Upton
HODGEN--Allen Keith Upton, 75, of Hodgen was born Nov. 3, 1943 in Kinta to Charles Allen and Cora (Weatherton) Upton and passed away Jan. 6, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Memorial services is Saturday at 2 p.m. at Stapp-Zoe Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Lynch officiating. Burial will be in the San Bois Cemetery in Haskell County. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Keith was a longtime resident of the area, a member of Stapp-Zoe Baptist Church, and a member of the Heavener Masonic Lodge #154. He was a retired food service superintendent at the James E. Hamilton Correctional Facility, where he worked for 21 years. Keith loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Keith will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving family members are his wife, Belinda Upton, of the home; one daughter April Massey and husband Robert of Texas; two stepdaughters Stephanie Gibson of Arkansas, and Terra Rogers and husband Jeff of Oklahoma; one son, David Allen Upton, of Texas; one stepson:
Tommy McClain and wife Becky of Arkansas; one sister Cheryl Sue Dustin and husband Chase of Texas; one brother Charles D. Upton and wife Sue of Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law Steve and Betty Wood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers-in-law Tony Wood and family, and Mark Wood and daughter; four nieces Chelsea Dustin of Texas, Hannah Dustin of Texas, Angela Bivens and husband Doug and family of Texas, and Cari Wright and husband Darian and family of Texas; 16 grandchildren Brent Massey, Natalie Massey, Ryan Massey, Aspen, Ainsley, Andyn, and Asher Gibson, Emma, Sophia, Lily, and Gage Rogers, Dustin, Adelain, and Brayden McClain, Colt and Preston Lemly; and several other loved ones and host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
