Unemployment rate goes up in October

The October employment rate was up in 57 Oklahoma counties, down in 14 and remained the same in six counties from the previous year in the report by the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.

LeFlore County’s percentage was up from the previous year and also from September. The county’s rate in October was 4.7 compared to 4.4 in September. The rate in August was also 4.7 while in October of 2018, the employment rate was 4.3 percent.
