Keota woman dies in auto accident Wednesday
An investigation is under way into the auto death of a 23-year-old Keota woman Wednesday at 3:58 p.m.
Kendra Hutchinson was driving a 2004 Nissan Armada at a high rate of speed on 4580 Road, topped the hill, lost control, went into a btoad slide, departed the road to the right and struck a utility pole.Vehicle continued to travel off the road, rolled one half of a time and came to rest on its top.
Hutchinson was pronounced deceased at the scene by Pafford EMS.
The report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol listed unsafe speed for type of roadway as the cause of the accident.
Two passengers were in the vehicle.
Martie Waylon Boston, 26, of Spiro was transported by Life Flight to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with trunk internal, trunk external and head injuries. He is admitted in stable condition.
The second passenger, Christopher Landon Johnson, 22, of Panama was transported by EMS to Baptist Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas with head, trunk internal, trunk external and arm injuries. He is also listed in stable condition.
Seatbelts were equipped, but not in use.
The accident was Investigated by Trooper Sean Haney, assisted by Trooper Toby Dustin Jenson, the Haskell County Sheriff’s Department, the Keota Fire Department and Life Flight.
