TUSHKA – Howe went 1-1 at the Tushka Tournament Thursday, defeating Antlers, 10-0, in the opener before losing 4-0 to Latta in the second contest.
Howe is 16-8 and plays Silo and Tushka Friday.

In the opener, Maddie Nobles threw a two-hitter in the win. She struck out five and had no walks.
Joz Johnson doubled and was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, Abby Huie doubled and went 2-3 with a run, Nobles helped her own cause by doubling and going 2-3 with three RBI and run. Ashlynn Dalton tripled in a 1-2 game with two runs and a RBI and Karsyn Nye tripled had a 1-2 game with a run.

Against Latta, Kalan Nye pitched 2.2 innings and gave up four hits and three runs, one earned, with five strikeouts and a walk. Kaelbi Duval threw the final 1.1 innings and gave up one hit.
Kalan Nye and Nobles each had a hit for Howe.
