POTEAU – LeFlore County commissioners signed an agreement with the Choctaw Nation to patch, level and overlay about a mile of road near Honobia at Monday’s weekly meeting. The surface will be asphalt/concrete.
A lease-purchase loan deal with the county, Fort Smith Garage Doors and The Community State Bank was tabled because the loan papers hadn’t been received from the bank by meeting time. The deal is for $14,999 to replace the doors at the Summerfield Volunteer Fire Department.
