Blast from the past 5-11-2021

Here is today’s blast from the past.

Today’s picture is of the old houses on Highway 59 where the First National Bank branch is currently located. The houses were purchased and torn down or moved in 1997 to make way for what was then State National Bank’s branch location.

The house on the corner was Sidney Elders and the second house was my grandparents house that they lived in with my aunt and uncle. GP-Herbert and Minnie Thorne and Fred and Trudy Dunn. I ate lunch there every day while in school at west side school
