Slow pitch state moved to Wednesday

All the slow pitch softball state tournament games have been rescheduled for Wednesday at the Ballfields at Firelake in Shawnee.

The tournaments were originally set to have the quarterfinals and semifinals played Tuesday with the finals on Wednesday. Heavy rain Monday night forced the delay.

Each tournament will now be played in one day.

Heavener plays North Rock Creek in Class 5A at 1 p.m. The semifinals game is at 5:30 p.m. with the finals at 7 p.m.

Pocola and Silo square off in Class 4A at 1 p.m. Semifinals are at 5:30 p.m. with the finals at 7 p.m.

In Class 3A, Wister and Navajo play at 10 a.m. The semifinal is at 4 p.m. with the finals at 7 p.m.

Whitesboro plays Caney in the Class A tournament at 2:30 p.m. The semifinals are at 5:30 p.m. with the championship at 7 p.m.
