ROFF – Whitesboro won both its games at a Class A slow pitch softball regional Saturday to qualify for this week’s state tournament.
The Lady Bulldogs are 26-8 and play in the state tournament Tuesday at the Ballfields at Firelake in Shawnee. The time and opponent has not been announced.
Whitesboro opened with a 12-1 win over Turner before winning the regional with an 8-7 victory over Roff.
The Lady Bulldogs tripled 7-5 in the bottom of the seventh before a Linley Collins triple with the bases loaded brought home Maddie Edwards, Kinley Barron and Kayleigh Walker.
Collins had the triple and was 3-4 with three RBI for the Lady Bulldogs, Edwards went 3-4 with two runs, Walker had a grand slam and finished 2-2 with four RBI and two runs.

The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a big lead early against Turned and coasted to the 12-1 win.
Walker homered and tripled while going 2-3 with five RBI and two runs and Edwards doubled and finished 1-3 with two runs and a RBI.
