The owner and manager of the Stash Box in Heavener, a medical marijuana establishment in town, attended Thursday night’s City Council meeting to ask about the new medical marijuana ordinances for the city and conflicts with state law. City representatives said they are aware of the problems and are working on the problems with legal representatives.

It was a light day for sports Thursday. Check out our scoreboard for all the scores on LeFlore County teams.

Mostly clear skies with warmer temperatures Friday in LeFlore County.

The high will be 63 degrees with a low of 35 degrees.

Spring equinox walks are scheduled for Friday at the Spiro Mounds.

Graveside services for Shannon Crase are 2 p.m. Friday at Old Cache Cemetery. She was born Oct. 17, 1978 in Tulsa and passed away March 17.
