HOWE – Arvilla (Cagle) Stewart, 90, of Howe, was born Dec. 14, 1930 in Claremore to John and Hazel (Mayo) Cinyard and passed away March 10, 2021 in Howe.
Graveside service is 1 p.m. Saturday at the Blanco Cemetery with Sister Sherry Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Blanco Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Avilla was a long-time resident of the area and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Avilla will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Surviving family members are one daughter Sandy Hammons and husband Jim of Chickasaw; three sons Lawrence Cagle and wife Pamela of Poteau, Bobby Cagle and wife Carolyn of Howe, and Galen Cagle and wife Denan of Mountainburg, Arkansas; one sister, Von Horsey, of Stockton, California; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, L.J. Cagle; her second husband, Bill Stewart; two sisters Billie and Ruby; and one brother, Z.A.
