Heavener and Pocola split a pair of low-scoring Black Diamond Conference games Tuesday in Heavener’s senior night.

Pocola’s girls held on to win the opener, 47-40, to complete the season sweep before Heavener’s boys had to hang on at the end for a 32-30 victory. It gave Heavener a 2-1 season advantage with the Wolves winning the last two.

Heavener’s girls are 9-5 while Pocola is 13-5. The Wolves improve to 6-9 while Pocola’s boys are 11-9.

Heavener is off until hosting Idabel in a Class 3A district tournament Feb. 19. Pocola is scheduled to visit Spiro Thursday.
