The National Weather Service in Tulsa has extended the winter weather advisory until Wednesday at 6 a.m. for portions of east central and southeastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.
Scattered areas of light freezing drizzle will continue across parts of the advisory area this afternoon. Some areas may get a break in precipitation this afternoon, light freezing drizzle is expected to redevelop across the area.
Additional ice accumulatio of less than one tenth of an inch are expected. Untreated roads and bridges and overpasses may become slick and hazardous.
