Bokoshe woman, Stigler couple hurt in accident

A Bokoshe woman was injured in an auto accident Thursday at 11:57 a.m. on Highway 271, 2.25 miles north of Panama.

Christen Langdell, 20, of Bokoshe was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer east when she failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the 2016 Ford Edge driven by Donald McAlvin, 81, of Stigler.

Langdell was transported by Mercy Life Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa with multiple injuries.

McAlvain was transported to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas, with head and nick injuries. A passenger in his vehicle, 81-year-old Sharon McAlvain, was also transported to Mery Hospital with head injuries.
