POTEAU – LeFlore County Commissioners tabled three bids for replacing the roof over the county detention center Monday, saying they needed time to compare the proposals.
An earlier bid was accepted, but later rejected last month because of problems with the specifications. The new bids will be discussed again at next week’s meeting.
Heritage Hills of Oklahoma City bid $123,750; McCoy Roofing submitted two options, one for $165,777 and another for $197,777; and Joplin Roofing bid $136,440.
Former Emergency Management Director Kim Wheeler appeared for a second time to discuss comp pay that she says is owed to her. She was dismissed as director in early December.
