HOWE – Nickie Jo Watts, 40, of Howe went to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born Nov. 21, 1979, in Poteau to Joyce Watts and Roger Boatright.
Nickie graduated from Howe High School with the class of 1998. She was a Certified Nurse Aid for many years. In her spare time, she loved playing softball, reading, and spending time with her friends, family, and children. Nickie had the most contagious smile and will forever be missed.
Nickie is survived by her two children Amber Nicole Johnson and Hailey Breanna Johnson of Keota; her mother, Joyce Myers, of Howe; a sister Becky Sanders and husband Dante of Howe; a twin brother, Rickie Watts and wife Jessica of Heavener; sisters Gina Hurst and husband Joe of Tulsa, and Carrie Boatright of Talihina; and brothers Travis Smith and wife Mindy of Seminole and Glendon Boatright and wife Tena of Clayton; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, Roger Boatright; stepfather, Jack Myers; grandmother, Mary Lou Watts; and grandfather, Ralph Watts.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at First Baptist Church in Heavener Southern Baptist Church at 10 a.m. with Pastor Gene Heflin officiating.
