POTEAU – A symposium aimed at people in the medical marijuana business is scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec. 2, at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center in Poteau.
The symposium is open to the public.
Bryan Suck of the Oklahoma Tax Commission will lead the event on topics including growing, processing and dispensing marijuana and how it all will be taxed, or assessed, including personal property, real estate and commercial entities.
The event is sponsored by the LeFlore County Assessor’s Office, OTC and Poteau Area Chamber of Commerce.
