LeFlore County had 40 new coronavirus cases in Saturday’s report by the Oklahoma Department of Health, tying for the most cases in a single date.
Poteau had 16 cases, Talihina had four, Howe and Spiro each had four, Wister had three, Heavener and Shady Point each had two, while Arkoma, Cameron and Pocola all had one.
The county now has 246 active cases, up 23 from Friday. LeFlore County has now had 2,050 cases, 1,779 recoveries and 25 deaths from coronavirus, or complications due to the virus.
