POTEAU – LeFlore County commissioners awarded a bid for repairing the roof over the county detention center Monday, and tabled bids received for purchase of a backhoe for District 3.
The winning roof bid was by Heritage Hills of Oklahoma City, which has done work on the courthouse in the past. The$69,900 alternate bid was accepted as it included a 20-year warranty for the entire courthouse roof, although the project would involve replacing only problem areas of the jail roof. The company also submitted a base bid for replacing the roof at $103,318.
