Coronavirus update 10-6-2020

The Oklahoma Department of Health reported LeFlore County had 26 new coronavirus cases and one person died from the virus or complications from coronavirus.

The deceased was a Poteau female in the 65-and-over age group.

Poteau had an additional 10 new cases, Spiro and Talihina both had five, Cameron two, while Arkoma, Heavener, Pocola and Shady Point each had one.

Poteau has had 57 new cases in the last seven days, and currently has 84 active cases. Active cases in the county are 220, down from Tuesday’s 226.

LeFlore County has now had 1,322 cases, 1,083 recoveries and 19 deaths from the virus or complications from coronavirus.
