LeFlore County had 25 new coronavirus cases in Friday’s report by the Oklahoma Department of Health.
A Poteau man, 65-and-older, became the 17th resident of the county to die from the virus or complications associated with it.
Poteau has now had three residents die from coronavirus or complications from it.
Howe had eight new cases for Friday and 23 over the last two days. Wister had five cases, Heavener, Poteau and Spiro each had three cases while Bokoshe and Cameron each had one.
The county now has 175 active cases, up .91 percent from Thursday’s 160 cases.
