POTEAU – Poteau officials are hopeful that an approaching amnesty program will help get some folks back on the road – legally – plus reduce a records backlog and perhaps bring some extra revenue to the city.

The amnesty for outstanding municipal warrants will run Monday through Saturday, Oct. 3-17. Hours will be regular business hours during the week plus 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the two Saturdays in that period. Payments will not be accepted on Sundays.
