Tuskahoma man dies in auto accident

A 25-year-old Tuskahoma man died in an auto accident Saturday 8:04 p.m. on Highway 2, 14 miles west of Talihina in Latimer County.

Robert Mace was driving a 2014 Nissan and tried to make a left turn when his auto was struck by a 2001 GMC driven by Georgia Nelson, 87, of Talihina.

He was pronounced dead at the Choctaw Nation Hospital in Talihina.

She was taken by Pafford EMS to McAlester Regional Hospital with trunk and internal injuries.
