Regional tournaments start Thursday

Regional fast pitch softball and fall baseball tournaments start Thursday.

In softball, Pocola, Howe and Whitesboro are hosting tournaments while LeFlore, Panama and Wister are on the road.

In Class 3A, Pocola hosts Morris at noon. Howe is hosting a 2A regional and plays Pawnee at noon. Whitesboro is hosting a Class B tournament and plays Oaks at noon.

Panama is in a Class 2A regional at Pawhuska and plays the hosts at noon. Wister is competing in a Class A regional at Fairland and plays Fairland at noon. LeFlore is in the Whitesboro regional and takes on Indianola at 2 p.m.

Losers play at 4 p.m. with the winners playing again at 6 p.m.

LeFlore, Whitesboro and Wister qualified for the fall baseball regionals. LeFlore travels to Red Oak and plays Red Oak at 2 p.m. while Whitesboro is in a Class B regional at Varnum and goes up against Moss at 4 p.m.

Wister is in a Class A regional at Dale and plays Byng at 4 p.m.
