POTEAU – Lisa Ann Hamner, 49, of Poteau, was born July 19, 1971 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Frank “Cork” Hamner and Queta Hamner and passed away Nov. 17, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Steelman and Bro. Sam Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Conser Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Lisa was a life-long resident of the area, a homemaker, and attended the Forrester Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing karaoke, two stepping, cooking and crafting. Lisa also loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Surviving family members are her companion, Nate Warren, of the home; her mother, Queta Hamner, of Howe; her father Frank “Cork” Hamner and wife Tammee of Howe; two daughters Julie Goforth and husband Jerrett of Heavener, and Cheyann Haynes and husband Eric of Conser; two sons Joshua Cox and wife Jessica of Arkansas, and Austin Word and fiancé Chasity Sanders of Shady Point; two sisters Deidre Icenhower of Heavener and Courtney Hamner of Heavener; four brothers Davy McLaughlin and wife Rhonda of Coaldale, Danny McLaughlin and wife Jennette of Panama, Jeff Hamner of Howe, and Jared Shadwick of Heavener; seven grandchildren Kaycen Goforth, Conner Goforth, Joshua Cox, Jr., Alyssa Cox, Haylee Cox, Gunner Word and Kylen Word; special friend, Toby Duane Henderson, of Poteau; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of many friends.
She was preceded in death by three nephews Shae McLaughlin, Nathan McLaughlin and Jace Hamner.
Pallbearers are Davy Mclaughlin, Dustin McLaughlin, Jeff Hamner, Austin Word, Eric Haynes and Nate Warren. Honorary pallbearers are Jared Shadwick and Joe Cruse.
Viewing is from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
