LeFlore County had 50 new coronavirus cases in Wednesday’s report by the Oklahoma Department of Health, along with the death of a Poteau male in the 50-64 age group.
Poteau had 12 new cases, Arkoma, Heavener and Pocola all had six, Spiro and Talihina had four, Howe and Shady Point both had three, Bokoshe and Wister two, and Cameron and Panama one each.
Active cases are 458, down from 467 Tuesday. The county had 383 new cases in the last week, an average of 54.7 per day.
The county has had 4,237 cases, 3,756 recoveries and 33 deaths from complications associated with the virus.
