The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported 16 new cases in LeFlore County along with the death by complications from the virus to a Talihina woman in the 36-49 age group.
The deceased was the 39th county resident to die from complications due to the virus.
Poteau had six new cases, Wister five, Heavener and Spiro two each, while Arkoma had one.
Active cases are 262, down from 268 Wednesday. The county has now had 4,936 cases and 4,636 recoveries.
